These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Scribe platform.

By using Scribe, you agree to these terms.

1. Use of the platform

You may use Scribe only for lawful business purposes and in accordance with these terms.

You agree not to:

  • Use Scribe to create unlawful, misleading, or harmful content

  • Attempt to reverse engineer or misuse the platform

  • Interfere with platform security or performance

2. Accounts and access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity conducted under your account.

3. Customer content and ownership

You retain ownership of all content, brand assets, and data you provide to Scribe.

By using the platform, you grant Scribe a limited licence to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

Scribe does not claim ownership of your content and does not use it for public AI training.

4. AI-generated content

While Scribe is designed to produce accurate, on-brand content, you remain responsible for reviewing and approving outputs before publication.

Scribe does not guarantee that AI-generated content will be error-free or suitable for all use cases.

5. Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

We may update, modify, or discontinue features as the platform evolves.

6. Fees and subscriptions

Paid plans are billed on a subscription basis as outlined on our Pricing page. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Scribe is provided “as is”

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses

  • Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim

Nothing in these terms limits rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act where applicable.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached. You may cancel your subscription in accordance with your plan terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
